This is exactly the scenario that several units practiced a few days ago at a wind turbine in Haiger.

Together with the Hesse Police Aviation Unit, the professional fire departments from Wiesbaden, Siegen, and Düsseldorf practiced various rescue scenarios at high altitudes. Such complex exercises demonstrate how important practical training, well-rehearsed procedures, and collaboration between different units are for operations at height.

Our training also focuses on working and rescuing under realistic conditions to prepare emergency responders as best as possible for real-life emergencies.
