The Safety And Rescue Academy (S.A.R.A.) of Hailo Wind Systems has been successfully conducting cross-industry training courses in realistic working environments on wind turbines, construction sites, in industry and much more worldwide for many years. All safety training courses are conducted by experienced trainers with many years of experience in the fields of wind power, energy technology, rescue at height, industry, fire departments and/or rescue services. With a fully equipped training center, we currently offer optimal conditions for over 30 safety training courses, online courses and refresher seminars. In addition, we have multiple qualifications and are the exclusive partner of leading occupational safety institutions:

Whether assembly training for access technology and service lifts, personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPE against falls), rescue exercises for working in wind turbines or generally for working at height - you can carry out all training courses with us under realistic conditions. This also applies to practical seminars for working in shafts as well as further and advanced training in the areas of fire protection, first aid, high-bay warehouses, special rescue, first aid at the scene of an accident and much more. Of course, we also offer many courses at your premises as well as other comprehensive services.
AUTHENTIC CONDITIONS
With a modern training center including an 18-meter training tower, we offer you authentic working conditions for all safety training courses, not only, but especially for the wind power industry. In addition, all training facilities are always equipped with the latest access and safety technology. For example, several variants of the tried-and-tested Hailo Wind Systems fall arrest systems are installed, as well as the latest ladder and rope-guided service lifts, climbing aids, winches, safety gear and other tower equipment components, such as guardrails, platforms, interlocking systems, rescue equipment, ladder accessories and much more.
The Safety And Rescue Academy is also certified by the DGUV for first aid training and the Global Wind Organization (GWO) in the areas of “Working at Heights”, “First Aid”, “Fire Awareness” and “Manual Handling”. Our high-quality training courses are impressive, as evidenced by the participant satisfaction rate of 98% for GWO training courses (as of May 2017). All Hailo Wind Systems safety training courses naturally comply with the current regulations of accident insurers and employers' liability insurance associations, as well as international standards and regulations.

In addition to system manufacturers, service companies, maintenance services, inspectors and operating companies, there are also many companies from the industrial, intralogistics and trade sectors, as well as participants from the fire and rescue services, who take advantage of our excellent training opportunities in Haiger, Hesse.
Numerous training courses are available for the various industries, but also for the needs of local authorities, trades and the construction industry in particular. All courses always take into account all specified work and safety obligations and legal requirements.
Modern training environment
Among other things, you will find our own high-bay warehouse course, a training hall with modern fire protection and firefighting equipment as well as a 15-cubic-meter shaft structure equipped with modern shaft and access technology. This includes various ladders, various climbing protection solutions, an accessible heavy-duty shaft cover including access aid and active ventilation systems. These provide the ideal conditions for safety and rescue training in manhole structures.
Note: Many training courses can also be held directly on construction site or at your premises!
TRAINING ONLINE
On our e-learning platform, you can easily complete important safety training courses, such as online training courses on operating Hailo Wind Systems service lifts, at any time and from anywhere. Comprehensive training videos and intermediate tests ensure lasting learning success. With our e-learning you save a lot of time and money - especially compared to classroom training. In addition, you will be comprehensively informed about proven occupational health and safety measures, enabling you to ensure your own occupational safety - as well as the safety of others - in the workplace.
Our modern e-learning also offers you many useful functions. For example, you are automatically informed of new safety information and before your certificates expire. After successfully completing a course, all training documents, such as assembly instructions or information presentations, are also available to you online for up to 2 years.

Do you have a qualified person in your company to inspect PPE? Regular testing ensures the safety of your employees and is also mandatory on an annual basis. However, the inspection of your PPE equipment must be carried out by appropriately trained professionals.

We will provide you with a quote or a replacement for defective or discarded PPE on site. We can also provide you with trial PPE on request. - Free reminder service
